200 new railway platforms of the resident SPV will transport containers in Vladivostok

The company "Paradigma" acquired the ownership of railway platforms for the transport of large containers. An investment project worth 500 million rubles was realized by the resident of the free port of Vladivostok by agreement with the Corporation for the Development of the Far East, creating five jobs.

The rolling stock is assigned to the stations of the Vladivostok railway junction. Currently, about 100 railway platforms have been acquired, and in the future, the fleet will be increased to 200 units.

The project of the resident SPV will contribute to increasing the turnover in the port areas of the Primorsky Territory, turning them into the largest transshipment points in the Asia-Pacific region. This will contribute to an increase in turnover in these ports, both in quantitative and monetary terms.

“We plan to take a share of about 15% of the market for the provision of large-capacity railway platforms for container traffic along the main route Vladivostok-Moscow,” said the director of Paradigma LLC, Peter Vozny.

The owner of the rolling stock expects that his clients will be not only the end users of the transport service, who owns the cargo transported by containers on railway platforms, but also the forwarding companies, which are actually intermediaries between vehicle owners and end users. Thus, the client base of LLC Paradigma will significantly expand, including at the expense of freight forwarding companies that do not have their own material base.

As of today, according to the data of JSC Far East Development Corporation, the number of residents of the free port of Vladivostok has reached 1,223. The total amount of the announced projects exceeded 625.5 billion rubles, the implementation of which will create more than 63 thousand jobs. Moreover, 120 residents of SPV have already launched their projects, investing about 63.5 billion rubles in the regional economy and creating about 7,800 jobs.
