ANO IPA will support investment projects in Chukotka

The Far East Investment Promotion and Export Support Agency (ANO IPA) will provide organizational and methodological support to 7 investment projects in the Chukotka Autonomous Region with an estimated investment of 380 billion rubles.

“These are three projects in the field of mining of solid and mineral resources with a total investment of 320 billion rubles, three energy projects with an investment of 50 billion rubles and one project to create a transport and logistics complex with an investment of 10 billion rubles,” said the director of ANO IPA on interaction with state bodies and regions Taras Popov.

According to him, the most attractive for investors is mining. “This is the extraction of precious and non-ferrous metals, coal. If we talk about the projects that we support and which we provide methodological and organizational support, these are projects for the extraction of copper and gold in the Baim zone, the development of coal in the Upper Alkatvaam and Amaam deposits, the extraction of tin and tungsten in the Pyrkakai stockworks, ”the representative of ANO explained IPA. Among the projects in the electric power industry, the Agency will support, inter alia, projects for the construction of 220 kV Omsukchan-PP-Peschanka OHL and facilities for technological connection to the power networks of PJSC Magadanenergo, as well as a project for the generation of electricity and the purchase of an Arctic Prompark Anadyre power plant.

 

Recall that ANO IPA plans to develop a unified investment strategy for all Far Eastern regions. Currently, investment strategies are being developed for each region. These strategies will be included in a single common document. A.
