ARCHK DV and Kimkano-Sutarsky GOK signed a strategic partnership agreement

The Agency for the Development of Human Capital in the Far East and the Kimkano-Sutarsky GOK signed an agreement on strategic partnership within the framework of the Eastern Economic Forum. The subject of the document was the interaction of the parties in the field of human capital development and the provision of labor resources for the producer of iron ore concentrates in the Far East. The agreement was signed by General Director of ANO ARCHK DV Sergey Khovrat and General Director of KS GOK LLC Yuri Makarov.

“The signing of the agreement is an important step in the development of our relations. This is not the first year that we have been supporting the enterprise - for example, in 2017, with the assistance of the Ministry for the Development of the Russian Far East, a new specialty “mineral processing” was opened in the Amur State University. We expect to develop and replicate this experience, as well as attract new partners interested in acquiring high-class specialists in the mining industry, ”commented Sergey Hovrat, Director General of the Agency for the Development of Human Capital in the Far East.

The development of the mining industry is a priority both for the Jewish Autonomous Region and for the entire Far East. The Kimkano-Sutarsky GOK enterprise is the flagship project of the Petropavlovsk-Ferrous Metallurgy group of companies and one of the leading mining enterprises in the entire region. If earlier, due to the lack of training of specialized personnel in the region, the enterprise was forced to solve the problem of personnel shortages due to the influx of specialists under the State program to facilitate the voluntary resettlement of compatriots living abroad, labor mobility and attracting on a rotational basis to the Russian Federation, now the company is growing qualified personnel on the basis of a joint program with Sholom Aleichem PSU.

“Our cooperation is a good foundation for the further development of our relations and new projects. Next year, we are waiting for the first specialists trained thanks to the support of the ARCHK Far East and the Ministry for the Development of the Russian Far East at Sholom Aleichem PSU. We are seriously considering the opportunity to raise the bar to higher education and engage in the training of specialists of a new level, ”said Yuri Makarov, Director General of the Kimkano-Sutarsky GOK. “Of course, there is a desire to scale the project by attracting other industry players to it.”

The main areas of cooperation within the framework of the signed agreement: information and organizational and methodological support for attracting workers to the enterprise, carrying out research and experimental development in the field of human capital development and human resources management, introducing best practices in the system of additional professional education and vocational training in the Far Eastern Federal District, implementation of projects in these areas, replication and scaling of successful educational Practitioner in the interests of Kimkano-Sutarsky GOK.
