In the ferrous metals market, a resident of the TOREX Khabarovsk group of companies TOREX Group has established itself as a successful player and reliable partner. Long-term contracts and agreements have been concluded between the company and the seaports of the Far East, allowing the company to successfully implement international transactions in the countries of Southeast Asia. In January 2017, TOREX Group acquired the assets of Amurmetall, the only metallurgical plant in the Far East, in Komsomolsk-on-Amur, which brought the company to a new level and turned it into a vertically integrated holding.

Pavel Baranovsky, head of the personnel department of Toreks-Khabarovsk LLC, says: “The development strategy of the enterprise provides for the implementation of a large-scale project for the construction of an electric steel-smelting plant in Khabarovsk. The planned capacity of the plant will be up to 300 thousand tons of steel billet per year, the cost of the project is 2.5 billion rubles. We started its implementation this year. We have been cooperating with the Agency for the Development of Human Capital in the Far East on staffing issues since June 2018 - this time, when we needed a 5th grade milling machine, a specialist of high working qualifications, we turned to the expertise of the AHRC Far East. ”

According to Pavel Baranovsky, the company needed an employee with experience in milling complex parts and tools on universal milling machines of various types and designs, living in Komsomolsk-on-Amur.

The vacancy was required to be closed promptly, therefore, the Agency's specialists worked through their own database of the region in parallel with posting a job on the city employment portals. One of the first to the company “Toreks-Khabarovsk” was a summary of the milling-machine operator Maxim Sotnikov.

“Maxim’s experience at the KNAAZ Aviation Plant Y. Gagarin, in particular, on the tasks requiring precision in the manufacture of aviation parts, attracted our attention, says Pavel Baranovsky. - Specialists of this level are very rare today. Masters of blue-collar jobs — turners, millers — are valuable for any enterprise, so closing a vacancy with a specialist of this level can be considered luck for us. ”
