ARCHK DV told about the directions of vocational guidance at a seminar in Khabarovsk

The seminar-meeting “All-Russian Career-Orientation Lesson“ Start a Labor Biography from the Arctic and the Far East ”: Results and Prospects for Development” was held in Khabarovsk with the participation of representatives of regional executive bodies, public organizations, the pedagogical and scientific community. The participants discussed the peculiarities of the education system in the subjects of the Far Eastern Federal District, the need for personnel in the district, municipal experience in organizing the All-Russian vocational guidance lesson “Start a Labor Biography with the Arctic and the Far East” in schools. The mechanisms of interaction with employers and the methods of vocational guidance of schoolchildren to the needs of the economy of the subjects of the Far Eastern Federal District were considered on the example of specific projects, such as the Compass of Self-Determination, implemented by the Khabarovsk Institute for Educational Development.

Tatyana Egorova, Head of the Representative Office of ANO ARCHK DV in Khabarovsk, spoke at the seminar with a report in which she spoke about the Agency’s work directions in the field of vocational guidance for students.

Tatyana Egorova noted that ARCHK Far East, as one of the regional development institutions, initiates, supports and participates in the implementation of projects for the development of human capital, including vocational guidance. Today, the Agency cooperates with more than 270 of the largest employers in the Far East and offers companies comprehensive solutions to provide them with labor resources - from early vocational guidance of young people to employment. Tatiana Egorova told about the ARAMA Far East's experience in conducting career guidance activities on the scale of the district and the country as a whole, focusing on the results of the All-Russian meta-subject Olympiad “Closer to the Far”.

“For the second year in a row, we are convinced that the Olympiad is a useful and effective tool for increasing the interest of Russian youth in the Far East,” Tatiana Egorova emphasized. - This year, with the planned coverage of 5,000 schoolchildren from no less than 50 subjects of the Russian Federation, 31551 people from all regions of the country took part in the competition “Closer to the Far”. Of these, only 5868 schoolchildren, or 18.6%, represented our federal district - the rest of the guys joined the project from other regions of Russia. This year, in addition to FEFU, six leading higher education institutions of the district have become partners of the Far-Eastern Regional Branch of the Far-Eastern Branch of the Far Eastern Federal District: NEFU, VSUES, PNU, AmGU, FGUPS, PSU named Sholem Aleichem. In general, such projects as “Start your working biography from the Arctic and the Far East!

The project “Start a Labor Biography from the Arctic and the Far East!” Is implemented on the territory of the Russian Federation in 2018-2019 by the Center for Budget Monitoring (Republic of Karelia). The project includes the All-Russian career-oriented lesson for schoolchildren of 8-10 grades “Start a Labor Biography from the Arctic and the Far East!”, Orienting to the choice of professions in demand in organizations conducting economic activities in the Arctic and the Far East.

The goal of the lesson is the formation of motivational attitudes of schoolchildren and students on the prospects of a career start in the Arctic and the Far East with the use of modern tools in the form of predicted vocational guidance. The target group is schoolchildren of 8-10 classes and students of universities and colleges. This academic year, vocational guidance lessons were held in schools in the regions of the Arctic and the Far East, as well as in ten other regions of the Russian Federation, graduates of universities and colleges who traditionally start working in Arctic and Far Eastern companies.
