The Delegation Of The Ministry Of Industry And Trade Of The Russian Federation Has Studied The Mechanisms Of Increasing Labor Productivity At Japanese Enterprises

 From February 21 to 23, 2018, Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation Georgy Kalamanov paid a working visit to Tokyo, the capital of Japan. The delegation, headed by the Minister of Economic Development of the Russian Federation Maxim Oreshkin, included representatives of several ministries, Russian regions, state and private companies. The mission of the visit is to study labor productivity issues in Japan.

Within the framework of the visit, a meeting was organized with representatives of the Federation of Economic Organizations of Japan (Nippon Keidanren) and the business community of Japan.

Over the past three years, a number of mechanisms for the implementation of investment projects in industry have been successfully launched, and by now a clear system of financial and non-financial support measures has been developed. Foreign, including Japanese enterprises, along with the Russian can use the benefits available to residents of special economic zones, territories of advanced development, industrial parks, participants of special investment contracts -

In addition, meetings were held with representatives of the Japan Performance Center (JPC), the Japan Association for Trade with Russia and the CIS (ROTOBO), the Japan Institute for Economics, Trade and Industry (RIETI).

Within the framework of the visit, Georgiy Kalamanov took part in the second meeting of the high-level Russian-Japanese working group. It was also attended by the Minister of Energy of the Russian Federation Alexander Novak and Minister of Economy, Trade and Industry of Japan Hiroshige Seko.
