Denis Manturov Attended The Meeting Of Vladimir Putin With The Prime Minister Of India And The President Of Egypt

 Today, September 4, 2017, during a business visit to China on the margins of the BRICS summit, Vladimir Putin met with Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Also during the visit to Xiamen, Vladimir Putin met with Egyptian President Abdelfattah Sisi . Issues of bilateral cooperation between the countries, in particular in the trade and economic sphere were discussed. The negotiations were attended by the Minister of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation Denis Manturov.

During the meeting with the Prime Minister of India, the head of Russia reminded that in 2017 70 years have passed since the establishment of diplomatic relations between the countries, and he highly appreciated the work done in the development of trade and economic relations.

If last year we observed some decline in our trade relations - minus 1.6 percent, then this year in the first half of the year we see a significant increase - almost 22 percent ,

stressed the president.

Speaking about bilateral relations with Egypt, Vladimir Putin also noted the positive dynamics in the restoration of economic ties. According to him, for 2016 the growth was 1.6%, and for the first half of 2017 - already 14%.

Abdelfattah Sisi stressed the importance of developing economic cooperation with Russia and invited Vladimir Putin to take part in the signing ceremony of a contract for the construction of a nuclear power plant by the Russian side in the territory of Dabaa.
