Farm, apiary, housing and amateur airfield: a settlement is being built in Kamchatka on the “Far Eastern hectares”

In the Yelizovsky district of the Kamchatka Territory, agglomeration is being formed on “Far Eastern hectares” - participants in the Beringia races with like-minded people took about 39 hectares, where they build their own housing, equip aviaries for their pets, and also engage in farming. In the future, a small amateur airfield is planned to be opened on the site. The press service of the Agency for the Development of Human Capital in the Far East found out about plans for the development of "Far Eastern hectares."

“Our project to create a settlement on the Kamchatka“ Far Eastern hectares ”appeared due to a common passion - we all participate in the Beringia dog sled races anyway. At some point, they decided to equip their own small settlement and tourist cluster - for these purposes they decided to take part in the Far Eastern Hectare program, ”says one of the initiators of the project, Andrei Gulei. “There are 11 of us families - we filed several collective applications and took a fairly large plot in the Novolesnovsky rural settlement. The site is conveniently located next to the highway on Yelizovo near the Topolovaya River. "

As Andrei said, the land was issued for several types of use - individual housing construction, personal subsidiary plots, recreation. These types of permitted use of the site are fully consistent with the goals of the association - to build housing, equip a site for sled dogs, organize a tourism business. “We have already built two houses. In addition, I have an apiary here, which for the second season brings amazing quality honey. Now we equip a kennel for sled dogs. When we finish the main part of the construction, we will begin to invite guests here and ride on sleds, and then plans to equip the site for a small amateur airfield. I have already received an amateur pilot certificate. ”

Recall that at present, the Far Eastern Hectare program provides each citizen of Russia, as well as participants in the State Program to facilitate the voluntary resettlement of compatriots living abroad to the Russian Federation, the right to receive a free land plot of up to one hectare in the territory of nine subjects of the Far East . Since August 1, 2019, the program has spread its effect to the Trans-Baikal Territory and the Republic of Buryatia, where land can be taken by local residents in the “home” region. Registration of the “Far Eastern hectare” is free of charge, via the Internet on the website of the Federal Information System “NaDalniy Vostok.RF”. During the first year, the applicant must determine the type of use of the site, after three years - to declare the progress of development.

For the convenience of citizens, the Agency for the Development of Human Capital in the Far East has  formed a portfolio of standard solutions, business plans that contain the structure and order of economic calculations. It is enough to choose the direction of interest and adapt the project to specific climatic conditions, to take into account the peculiarities of doing business in a particular region. In addition, state support measures are available to recipients of the “Far Eastern hectares” - these are subsidies that stimulate livestock farming on private farms, grants to support the establishment of households, the “Beginner Farmer” grant, provision of wood incentives for private housing, subsidies to support small-scale farming and others.  You  can view the full list of support measures on the ARCHK DV website.
