Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation Gulnaz Kadyrova took part in the XXXII Conference of the Association "National Art Crafts of Russia".
The event was also attended by Deputy Chairman of the Federation Council Committee on Science, Education and Culture Sergei Rybakov , President of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Russian Federation Sergey Katyrin , full member of the Russian Academy of Arts Viktor Kalinin , representatives of more than 50 organizations of folk arts, educational institutions, cultural centers and Museums.
During the Conference, issues of the status and development of the member enterprises of the Association were discussed, and the results of its work in 2016 were summed up.
In her speech, Gulnaz Kadyrova said that last year the amount of funds provided from the federal budget to the organizations of the National Petroleum Corporation was increased by one third compared to 2015. According to her, state support was provided to 284 organizations of folk arts and crafts, and taking into account the volume of budget revenues from tax privileges granted, as well as support to the subjects of the Russian Federation, amounted to more than 1.1 billion rubles. At the same time, the volume of production of the products of the NHP in monetary terms reached 5.5 billion rubles: thus every fifth ruble in the industry - state support.
At the same time, as the Deputy Minister noted, the emphasis in the work of the Ministry in 2016 was made on the interaction of the regions. Among the leaders in terms of the volume of support provided - St. Petersburg, Kirov region and the Republic of Dagestan.

In addition, the Conference raised the issues of promotion of folk arts and crafts, and the participants of the event came to a conclusion about the urgency of using new tools. It was noted that the growing interest of domestic and incoming tourists to the unique products of folk crafts causes the integration of fisheries into the tourism industry. For the industry, this is an opportunity to expand distribution channels, including by incorporating traditional places of fishing in recommended tourist routes.
