The Delegation of Industry and Trade of Russia under the leadership of the Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade Gleb Nikitin Tuesday, March 14 an official visit to Stockholm (Sweden), where they had a meeting with the EU Affairs Minister and Trade Ms. Ann Linde, State Secretary, Deputy Minister of Commerce Mr. Oscar Stenstrёmom, as well as leaders of major Swedish companies.
One of the main issues discussed during the meetings was to discuss the possibility of holding the Supervisory on Trade and Economic Cooperation Committee, which was not carried out since 2013. As a result, it was agreed that the meeting of the Co-Chairs of the Committee in the face of Russian Industry and Trade Minister Denis Manturov and Minister for EU Affairs and Trade, Ms. Anne Linde is scheduled to be held in the near future. So, today considered different options for negotiations: on the sidelines of the St. Petersburg Economic Forum and the exhibition INNOPROM in Yekaterinburg.
The Swedish side also expressed its readiness to visit Moscow on an official visit, without being attached to these activities. I think that decision will be made as soon as possible. In any case, the purpose of the visit - to ensure the restart of the joint state institutions to promote trade, I think has been achieved -

He also added that he has already ordered a working group on investment, operating under the Supervisory Committee of the two countries on 30 March in Stockholm.
As the head of the Russian delegation during the talks the sides noted the mutual interest in the implementation of projects to implement the best available technologies in the industry, providing re Russian enterprises in accordance with the latest environmental requirements.
Today we are developing BREFs. In this direction, we are actively working with the Swedish Environmental Protection Agency. We believe that we have in this area has great potential in the sphere of investments in the creation and production of equipment for the "green" technologies and their implementation -

According to him, in the course of negotiations the parties confirmed that a new impetus to relations may give the joint implementation of projects in the processing of municipal solid waste and a multi-storey wooden house-building. "For us, this is very interesting, because now an urgent need to create appropriate facilities in Russia", - he said. Another important direction of the conversation began to enter into the special conditions of investment contracts, in particular in the field of pharmaceuticals and engineering, to which the Swedish business has shown considerable interest.
