The Issues Of Increasing The Competitiveness Of Russian Equipment For The Fuel And Energy Sector Were The Subject Of Discussion Within The Framework Of The Russian Energy Week

 Within the framework of the Russian Energy Week in Moscow, a panel discussion "Technological Cooperation and Import Replacement in the Energy Sector: An Effective Response to Sanctionary Risks" was held on October 6 in the Central Exhibition Hall "Manege".

The event was attended by Mikhail Ivanov, Director of the Machine-Building and Machine-Building Department of the Ministry of Industry and Trade of Russia .

Within the framework of the panel discussion, the results of the policy on import substitution in the fuel and energy sector, conducted jointly by the state and sector players, were analyzed, current and future domestic demand analyzed for further effective development and production of import substituting technologies and equipment. The necessity of introducing additional measures of state support for the development of production and service in the Russian Federation of equipment for the needs of fuel and energy industries.

An important place in the discussion was taken by discussion of the prospects for further reducing the dependence of the fuel and energy sector on the import of technologies and equipment.

Particular attention was paid to the problems of increasing the competitiveness of Russian products and developing its export potential.

In his speech, Mikhail Ivanov touched upon the implementation of key projects in the field of mechanical engineering for the electric power industry and the oil and gas sector, the creation of equipment for the development of shelf deposits, including for the Arctic zone.

"At present, the capacity of the Russian market of investment engineering for the fuel and energy complex is insufficient for the sustainable development of domestic equipment production," said the head of the structural department of the agency. " The market capacity can be increased by launching a new program for upgrading equipment in the Russian power industry, as well as increasing the presence of our companies in foreign markets . A new direction is not from the point of view of setting tasks, but from the point of view of financial filling - this is export . "

According to Mikhail Ivanov, a system of support mechanisms has been developed to date.

We subsidize the transport component in the export of industrial products, as well as the mechanisms related to certification, patenting of products, preparation for export to foreign markets," noted the Director of the Department.
