The largest Russian companies will develop technology in the center of digital development on Russky Island

Russian Minister for the Development of the Far East and the Arctic, Alexander Kozlov, today signed a series of agreements on the establishment of the Digital Development Center on the Russian island.

Agreements with the participation of the Ministry of Digital Development, Telecommunications and Mass Media of Russia, Far Eastern Federal University, Gazprom PJSC, MTS PJSC, Russian Railways PJSC, Rostelecom PJSC, Rosatom State Corporation, Rosgeology JSC were signed today, 5 September at the site of the V Eastern Economic Forum.

The parties agreed on the implementation of innovative projects within the framework of a scientific and technological center on Russky Island. A comfortable environment will be formed on the site for the creation and implementation of innovative projects, testing and pilot implementation of advanced developments, launching startups.

“Vladimir Putin, during his speech at the plenary session, set the task of making the Far East one of the global centers of high technologies and competencies, new industries and industries. Today, there is a real struggle for technology. We need to concentrate new technologies at home, in the Far East. That is why a powerful innovation cluster is being formed on the Russian island, ”emphasized Alexander Kozlov.

During the signing of the agreement with the Minister of Digital Development, Telecommunications and Mass Media of the Russian Federation Konstantin Noskov, the Chairman of the Management Board of PJSC Gazprom Alexey Miller and the Rector of the Far Eastern Federal University Nikita Anisimov, the parties agreed to implement projects related to dynamic digital modeling of technological processes. We are talking about the working conditions of subsea production complexes and pipelines, equipment for liquefying natural gas. It is also planned to develop intelligent control systems for underwater industrial robots adapted for operation in arctic conditions.

In addition, it is planned that MTS PJSC in the digital development center will create an automated analytical system for working with Big Data. At the first stage, the model will work on the basis of aggregated big data of MTS, in the future the system will be supplemented with other aggregated data: on the ecological state of the region, traffic congestion, electrification and others, which will create a full-scale digital twin of Vladivostok.

And together with the Rosatom corporation, a virtual and augmented reality laboratory will be created on the basis of the Far Eastern Federal University. The participants agreed to jointly develop advanced digital products and implement them in the educational process using the Logos software package of Rosatom State Corporation.
