The Ministry Of Industry And Trade Has Released An Additive Equipment Catalog

The Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation has formed a catalog of domestic products in the field of additive manufacturing for 2019. The list of modern high-tech Russian products will be regularly updated.

The catalog already contains about 70 items and reflects the current status of 3D printers produced by Russian organizations, as well as metal and polymer materials. For each position, the technical characteristics, production capabilities and individual unique features of the products are indicated.

The industry of Additive Manufacturing is extensive, innovative and constantly evolving, entering new, previously not expected segments due to the possibility of producing parts with unique microstructures. They are able to compete with products of traditional manufacturing processes and have great potential when it comes to making tooling and functional products to order in the shortest possible time.

According to Denis Manturov , Minister of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation , additive technologies are becoming more common every year in both the civil and industrial segments.

Today we see a steady downward trend in prices for additive equipment, thanks to the introduction of a large number of modern and affordable industrial systems by new players to the market. According to expert estimates, at the end of 2018, the global market for additive technologies, consisting of products and services, amounted to about $ 9 billion. At the same time, the Russian market of additive production, including equipment, materials, services, various R & D, despite not so significant absolute figures, shows an annual growth of about 20% and at the end of 2018 amounted to about 4.5 billion rubles

- noted Denis Manturov.

Over the past two years there has been a significant leap in the development of domestic competencies in the field of industrial additive equipment. More than 40 industrial and 5,000 desktop 3D printers were produced, which significantly reduced the annual dependence on imports in the total volume of purchases.

In general, the volume of production of domestic civil and industrial additive equipment in Russia in comparison with 2011 increased by 20 times in monetary terms and reached 760 million rubles a year, and import dependence for the period 2001-2018. decreased from 96 to 60 percent

- noted the head of department.

The development of draft regulatory documents in the field of additive technologies is carried out according to the plan in this area, which allows for the certification of both the technology itself and the resulting products.

To date, for the additive industry, Rosstandart has already approved 12 and put into effect 10 of the 39 state standard plans planned by the end of 2019

- said the Minister.

In addition, the opening of the first industry engineering centers of additive technologies equipped with domestic equipment has taken place, in particular, on the basis of state corporations Roscosmos and Rostec, and by 2020, the Center of additive technologies of Rosatom is planned to open in Novouralsk.
