The Ministry Of Industry And Trade Of Russia Discussed The Industrial Development Of The OMSK Region

The Minister of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation Denis Manturov held a working meeting with the Governor of the Omsk Region Alexander Burkov.

The parties discussed issues of further development of the industrial potential of the region. In particular, the topic of further development of the Federal State Unitary Enterprise Federal Scientific Production Center Progress was touched upon, in terms of the production of modern, high-tech rubber products for industries.  

 

In addition, Denis Manturov and Alexander Burkov discussed issues of holding events within the framework of the business program of the 16th Forum of Interregional Cooperation between Russia and Kazakhstan. It is worth noting that the Omsk Region is a major Russian center of oil refining and petrochemicals and produces in Russia every tenth car tire and a ton of oil products, every seventh ton of polypropylene, every third ton of carbon black and toluene, half of Russian xylene, every fifth ton of butadiene- (alpha-methyl) styrene rubber and methyl tert-butyl ether (MTBE). To increase the volume of Russian-Kazakh trade and the development of cooperative ties with enterprises of Kazakhstan,
