The Ministry Of Industry And Trade Of Russia Took Part In The Exhibition Chemistry – 2019

With the support of the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation , the business program of the International Exhibition of the Chemical Industry and Science “Chemistry - 2019” has started .

The State Secretary, Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade of Russia Viktor Yevtukhov , Deputy Minister of Energy of the Russian Federation Pavel Sorokin , President of the Russian Union of Chemists Viktor Ivanov and other officials took part in the opening ceremony of the exhibition .

“Serious investment resources are being attracted to the chemical industry. In the first half of 2019, 10 projects for the production of chemical products have already been launched. By the end of the year, it is planned to launch another 20 projects. In general, over the past five years, starting in 2014, investments in fixed assets in the chemical industry amounted to 1.9 trillion rubles and almost doubled during this period - 1.8 times, ”

- noted Victor Evtukhov.

To increase the investment attractiveness of the industry, the Ministry of Industry and Trade of Russia implements a wide range of government support measures: soft loans, subsidizing part of R&D expenses, and paying interest on loans.

Also, together with other authorities, the agency improved the mechanism of special investment contracts (SPIC 2.0). A package of relevant bills was signed on August 2 by Russian President Vladimir Putin.

Now the Ministry of Industry and Trade of Russia is collecting proposals from companies through the State Industry Information System. Based on business proposals, a list of the latest technologies will be formed, the implementation of which will possibly conclude SPIC 2.0.

The exhibition "Chemistry - 2019" brings together 415 exhibitors from 23 countries, the organizers expect more than 16 thousand people from 56 countries. The exhibition features an interactive booth of the Ministry of Industry and Trade of Russia dedicated to the Russian chemical industry. The stand is equipped with information touch panels with data on Russian chemical industry companies and on measures of state support for the industry.

The international exhibition "Chemistry" has been held in Moscow since 1965 and is one of the most prestigious exhibitions in its industry. According to experts, the exhibition has a significant impact on the development of both the chemical and petrochemical complex, as well as other industries, and strengthens the relationship between Russian and foreign companies. The exhibition will continue to work until September 19.
