Ministry Of Industry Of Russia Will Support The Production Of An Electric ATV

The company "Russian mechanics" Rybinsk (Yaroslavl region) for the first time demonstrated the concept of electric quadrocycle, equipped with four electric motors with a drive for each wheel.

The electric quadrocycle PM is created on the basis of the serial snow aerobot RM 650-2, but in its functional and dynamic properties is fundamentally different from the basic model. It is charged from a regular household outlet for 8 hours. Installed on it, lithium-ion batteries have a high energy capacity and are capable of recovering the charge when towing.

The obvious advantages of electric quadrocycles - economy, environmental friendliness, noiselessness, simplicity in management and maintenance. In the road, the driver and his passenger will be accompanied only by the rustling of wheels on the ground and asphalt: no engine roar and noxious emissions.

In 2017, the company "Russian mechanics" plans to complete the test of an electric ATV. In 2018, it is planned to produce a pilot commercial batch, and in 2019 - to start mass production of the Russian ATV with an electric power unit.

To achieve these goals, tools will be used to support manufacturers implementing high-tech projects.

Realization of the project will allow to bring to the market an innovative product that has unique characteristics that are especially topical at present. In addition, this type of product has a high export potential, -

Yevgeny Korchevoy, Director of the Department of Agricultural, Food and Road-Building Machinery Industry of the Ministry of Industry and Trade of Russia.

For reference

"Russian mechanics" is a Russian company that produces snowmobiles and ATVs. Carries out designing, manufacture, marketing and service of the made technics.

Implemented measures of state support to industry had a positive impact on the activities of the company "Russian mechanics". In particular, the subsidy received in 2016 as part of the implementation of the Russian Federation Government Decree No. 214 of March 12, 2015 largely neutralized the negative impact of the consequences of the rapidly falling market of equipment for outdoor activities.

At the beginning of this year, with the support of the Russian Export Center, Russian Mechanics successfully certified 3 models of snowmobiles for compliance with the requirements of the European Union, considering the possibility of applying a scheme for financing the export of machinery supplied by the Republic of Moldova under the existing state support programs.
