MINPROMTORG Supports The Creation Of Domestic Hydraulic Fracturing Fleets For The Oil And Gas Industry

Vasily Osmakov, Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation, took part in the meeting on the introduction of the domestic fleet of fracturing (hydrofracturing) for the oil and gas industry and the organization of service works.

The main theme of the last event was the issues of import substitution in the field of oil and gas engineering and overcoming technological dependence on foreign producers. One of the priority areas of this work is the development of its own technologies of fracturing. In particular, the creation of a domestic fleet - a complex of special equipment for the intensification of oil and gas production by fracturing methods.

The meeting, chaired by Sergey Shatirov, Deputy Chairman of the Federation Council Committee on Economic Policy, was held on the territory of the Bezema machine-building plant in Krasnogorsk. Before its beginning, the delegation of the Ministry of Industry and Trade of Russia in the person of Vasily Osmakov, the director of the Department of Machine-Tool Building and Investment Engineering Mikhail Ivanov and his deputy Yevgeny Muratov visited together with the deputy head of the Ministry of Energy Kirill Molodtsov the production site of the company "Betsema", specializing in the production of special purpose vehicles.

During the meeting, representatives of the enterprise told about their achievements in the field of creating a domestic fleet of hydraulic fracturing. In particular, it was about pumping, hydration and mixing plants from domestic components, Russian technological equipment, software and engines. The meeting participants expressed their readiness to assist the enterprise in the implementation of this complex project, ensuring the interaction of machine builders with the largest customers in the face of oil and gas companies.

In Russia today there are about 80 fleets of hydraulic fracturing. The park of this equipment needs updating and a significant reduction in the share of imported solutions when creating new models. To implement these high-cost projects, Russian machine builders can use existing support programs, including subsidizing pilot lots of industrial products and concessional loans from the Industrial Development Fund at 1% per annum under the special program "Accessories,
