Negotiations On The Supply Of Russian Equipment To The Republic Of Cuba

On December 12, a Cuban delegation visited the production site of ZAO Tauras-Fenix, located in St. Petersburg, which included representatives of the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Cuba, as well as enterprises implementing investment projects for processing citrus.

Thanks to the government's program for the restoration and development of the citrus industry in the region, the demand for suitable technological equipment has sharply increased in the Republic of Cuba.

During the visit, an excursion was made to the ZAO Tauras-Fenix plant. The guests got acquainted with the full cycle of manufacturing equipment, visiting the following production departments: design office, mechanical and galvanic shops, as well as assembling and setting up areas for food equipment.

High-tech equipment for filling and packaging of juices and puree from fruit has caused great interest among foreign colleagues. At present, negotiations are underway to conclude contracts for the supply of domestic engineering products to the Republic of Cuba.

For reference:

CJSC Tauras-Fenix is an example of a company that successfully implements the policy of import substitution of products in the machine-building market, because about 80% of all components for the equipment are either manufactured by own forces or purchased from other Russian manufacturers. Automatic equipment "Tauras-Fenix" fully meets the modern European requirements for quality, reliability, productivity, simplicity of management and safety, which allows the company to increase the export of equipment annually.
