Proposals On The Development And Introduction Of Advanced Laser Industrial Technologies

During the conference, organized by LLC "New technologies of laser thermal strengthening" (LLC "NTLT") and FKP "GLP" Rainbow ", discussion of prospects of development of laser industrial technologies was held. Dmitry Kapranov , Director of the Department of the Industry of Conventional Arms, Ammunition and Special Chemistry of the Ministry of Industry and Trade of Russia , John Kovsh , President of the Laser Association, and more than 50 representatives of regional laser technology centers and enterprises from various regions of the country took part in the event .

Among the listeners was also a large group of future graduates of the Department of "Physics and Applied Mathematics" of Vladimir State University named after A.G. and N.G. Stoletovye in the specialized areas "Laser technology and laser technology", "Nanotechnology", "Applied Mathematics and Informatics".

Before the beginning of the conference, its participants were introduced to the production and technological base of the FPP "GLP" Raduga ". In particular, they inspected the high-tech equipment (CNC machine tools, portal, three-, four-, five-axis machining centers, etc.), as well as laser and plasma cutting machines, during which products were processed within the framework of production cooperation for enterprises of the defense industry of the region and for the production of laser complexes.

In the technopark zone of the laser in the production areas of the NTLT Center, modern laser complexes of its own production are being designed for welding, cutting and heat-strengthening of parts of various shapes, sizes and materials.

The plenary meeting heard reports on the state and development of laser technologies, various forms of state support for Russian laser equipment manufacturers, equipment and their components, and the development and implementation of technical regulations and GOSTs.

The conference participants paid special attention to the issues of training highly qualified engineers, specialists and scientists for higher education institutions, as well as the education of professional personnel at the enterprises, including the training opportunities at the VLU State University's Department of Laser Surface Treatment of Materials.

As a result of the discussion, proposals have been formulated for the development and implementation of promising laser industrial technologies by laser equipment manufacturers, regional centers and enterprises of the MIC with the support of the Ministry of Industry and Trade of Russia and the Laser Association.
