Representatives Of Russia And France Discussed Innovations In The Automotive Industry

 During a working visit to France, Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation Alexander Morozov visited the innovative Renault Open Innovation Lab and the Global R & D Center Renault in Paris, and discussed the SPIC mechanism with Senior Vice President, Regional Operations Manager of the Eurasia Group Renault , Deputy Chairman of the Board of Directors of JSC AVTOVAZ Denis Le Votom , Vice-President for Design Antony Grad , General Director of Renault Russia Andrey Pankov .

During the visit to the Global R & D center of Renault Alexander Morozov, Renault's perspective models for Russia and innovative solutions for new mobility systems on the Renault electric vehicle platform were presented.

During the talks, the parties discussed the possible use of the SPIC by Renault Russia.

In the innovation laboratory of the Renault Open Innovation Lab Alexander Morozov got acquainted with the unique program of digital development of Renault, the concept of industrial cooperation in the framework of the development of new mobility and examples of start-ups. The deputy head of the Ministry of Industry and Trade held talks with the director of the Renault-Nissan Alliance for Open Innovation, Serge Passologungi .

Renault Open Innovation Lab is an innovative structure within the framework of the Groupe Renault, engaged in research in such areas as "Transport-as-a-Service", connected cars, electric vehicles and autonomous transport, urban environment development based on the Smart City concept, innovative design in cooperation with external partners, including promising start-ups, large innovative digital companies, city administrations.

The first two laboratories were created in Silicon Valley (USA, 2011) and Tel Aviv (Israel, 2016), in March 2017 in Paris, the third Innovation Lab was opened. Among the partners of the French branch of the Renault Open Innovation Lab, located in the innovative cluster Le Square, about 30 technology companies. The main areas of the laboratory include issues of new urban mobility, innovative transportation systems and services.
