The Republic of Buryatia for the first time takes part in the exhibition “Street of the Far East”

The Republic of Buryatia for the first time presents its pavilion at the exhibition "Street of the Far East", which takes place as part of the V Eastern Economic Forum from September 3 to 8. In the pavilion you can see successful investment projects, as well as with the tourism and industrial potential of the Republic.

The pavilion is decorated in the Buryat national style using images of Lake Baikal. The podium at the entrance to the pavilion is decorated with hurde - installations with Buddhist prayer drums.

At the demonstration site in front of the pavilion, Ka-226T and Mi-171A2 helicopters of the Ulan-Ude Aviation Plant are presented. The most striking national musical, vocal and dance numbers will be performed by well-known groups and soloists, among which the best dance group of the country on the project of the TV channel "Russia 1" "Everybody Dance!" - Baikal Theater.

The National Orchestra of the Republic of Buryatia will perform famous soundtracks for popular world and Russian films and TV shows. The customs and fun of Russian, family and Cossacks will demonstrate the folk song and dance ensemble "Expanse."

The guests will be taught the traditional Buryat dance - Yokhor. They will show the national sports of Buryatia: wrestling Bokhe barildaan, breaking the spinal bone Kheer shaalgan, Buryat chess "Shatar" and the game of dice "Shagay naadan." A tasting of national dishes is planned.

Buryatia presents jade products, the unique traditions of Tibetan medicine and the practice of healing. In the pavilion, a doctor-tibetologist from the Center for Oriental Medicine is receiving.

Recall that the Republic of Buryatia and the Trans-Baikal Territory became part of the Far Eastern Federal District on November 3, 2018 in accordance with the Decree of the President of Russia Vladimir Putin. Today, support measures developed by the RF Ministry for the Development of the Far East and the Arctic are already in force in Buryatia.

By resolution of the Government of the Russian Federation dated June 14, 2019 No. 760, the Buryatia ASEZ was created in the territories of the Kabansky and Kyakhtinsky districts of the Republic. Already in July, the first residents appeared in the TOP. They became two companies - Noyabrskprodservice and the Naushki Customs and Logistics Terminal with projects for the construction of a poultry complex with a capacity of 30,000 tons of meat per year and the creation of a base for the provision of integrated services for freight transportation by rail and road. The total volume of declared investments exceeds 5.5 billion rubles, the implementation of projects will create 870 jobs.

Since the beginning of August, it is already possible to obtain land on the territory of the Republic of Buryatia under the Far Eastern Hectare program. Currently, from August 1, 2019 to February 1, 2020, the first phase of the program is being implemented in Buryatia, when the residents of the Republic on its territory can apply for a “hectare” in priority order. From February 1, a hectare in the region under the program will be able to register any Far East, and a year later, from August 1, 2020 - any Russian. To date, 6 residents of the republic have received land under the program, another 90 citizens have approved the issuance of land.

On June 1, the electronic visa mechanism began to operate in the Republic. Citizens of 19 countries can get an electronic visa to visit the region. It is issued free of charge, without collecting a consular fee four days before the intended entry into the country.

The social sphere of the region did not go unnoticed. As part of the implementation of the Plan for the Development of the Social Infrastructure of Economic Growth Points (“Single Subsidy”), 92 measures will be implemented in Buryatia for which more than 6.6 billion rubles are provided. With the help of subsidy funds, sports complexes and playgrounds, a cultural heritage center and a national museum will be built in the region, major repairs will be carried out at educational institutions, healthcare and sports facilities, and engineering infrastructure will be built and repaired. Some of the activities have already been completed, in particular, a rural house of culture has been built in the village of Yervinsky district, buildings for the center for social adaptation and the office of general practitioners have been purchased, major repairs have been made to the educational building of GBETU “GET”.
