Resident of the free port of Vladivostok began to grow soybeans on an area of 1,400 hectares

The SKIF construction company began growing soybeans in the Ussuriysky urban district and the October district of the Primorsky Territory. Machinery, equipment and inventory of the agricultural complex, launched by agreement with JSC "Corporation for the Development of the Far East", will ensure the processing of land using the latest technologies and significantly reduce the time for sowing and harvesting. Investment in the project amounted to 28.3 million rubles.

The total area of ​​sowing is about 2000 hectares, by now the resident has planted 1,400 hectares. At the subsequent stages of the development of production, it is planned to expand land use and cultivate other grains, carnival, root and tuber crops.

“We plan to get about 3 thousand tons of soybean by the results of this year’s harvesting campaign,” said Taras Fischuk, a representative of SKIF Construction Company LLC. - Thanks to the status of a resident of the free port of Vladivostok, we managed to get land for rent without a tender. Next year, with the assistance of the Far East Development Corporation, we plan to expand the sown area to 5 thousand hectares. We also use tax preferences granted to residents. ”
