Rostselmash Supplied Syria With The First Batch Of Agricultural Machinery

Russian combine harvester ROSTSELMASH and its Syrian partner won the right to supply equipment for harvesting to Syria.

To date, ROSTSELMASH has already shipped two RSM 1401 self-propelled harvesters in combination with grass harvester and pickers and two KSU-1 self-propelled universal mowers with attachments: front-mounted rotary mowers and mowers. Also, the parties are negotiating about the next shipment of other harvesting equipment to the territory of Syria.

Manufacturers of Russian agricultural machinery singled out the market of the Middle East region as one of the key to the organization of supplies, due to the growing consumer demand for agrotechnics in the region.

In accordance with the Export Development Strategy developed by the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation in the field of agricultural machinery for the period up to 2025, the volume of agricultural machinery consumption in the Middle East region will grow at an average annual rate of 8% per year.

With the aim of realizing the corresponding potential, producers are already now available export support measures implemented by the Ministry of Industry and Trade of Russia, including those aimed at providing subsidies from the federal budget to agricultural engineering organizations in order to compensate for part of the costs of transportation, homologation and confirmation of compliance with international standards.
