Russia And Japan Intend To Cooperate In Raising Production Efficiency

 At the site "INNOPROM-2017" international conference "Cooperation in the field of operational efficiency." The discussion was attended by Director of Machine Tool engineering and investment ministry's Department of Russian Mikhail Ivanov , director of the JGC Suzuki Masanori , the head of the Department of External and Government Communications Corporation Mitsubishi Electric Uemura Noritsugu , President of Kawasaki Robotics GmbH and Kawasaki Robotics (UK) ltd and others.

Mikhail Ivanov spoke about the current cooperation with Japan and the prospects of its development. So, in order to strengthen the partnership in December 2016 between Russia and Japan signed a memorandum on cooperation in two areas: staff training (from January 2017 to March 2018 more than one hundred experts from Russia will be training in Japan) and increase production efficiency. To date, there are about twelve enterprises involved in the program.

At the same time, Mikhail Ivanov drew attention to the establishment in the near future on the site Skolkovo company's engineering center «Fanuc».

"This is important because the main objective of this center will be the implementation of engineering services and the decisions that have" Fanuc "with development of other innovative companies, including Russian companies, which today are residents of Skolkovo", - he said.

To date, solutions have already been adopted, which will contribute to the introduction of lean production techniques in large Russian companies. It is, inter alia, to reduce the number of manual operations, reduce production defects, improving planning and, as a result, reducing the loss of working time.

Russian Ministry of Industry will continue to work to preserve positive dynamics of bilateral cooperation between Russia and Japan in the area of ​​increasing production efficiency.
