Russia Will Become A Partner Country Of The International Machine Building Exhibition MSV-2020

On October 10, 2017, the "Business Day of the Russian Federation" took place in Brno (Czech Republic), in which the deputy head of the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation, Vasily Osmakov, took part .

The event was held within the framework of the 59th International Machine Building Exhibition MSV, which is one of the largest industry product and technology reviews in Central and Eastern Europe. Annually more than 1600 exhibitors and 80 thousand specialists from different countries take part in it.

The MSV-2017 Russian exhibitors included representatives of the leading domestic industrial enterprises, the Russian Export Center, delegations from St. Petersburg, the Republic of Tatarstan, Bryansk, Vladimir, Volgograd, Kirov, Moscow, Nizhny Novgorod, Sverdlovsk, Smolensk, Ulyanovsk and Chelyabinsk regions.

Within the framework of the exhibition, the "Business Day of the Russian Federation" was organized by the Czech Chamber of Commerce and Industry for the CIS countries with the support of the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Czech Republic, the embassy and the trade mission of the Russian Federation in the Czech Republic.

Deputy Chairman of the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation Vasily Osmakov made a welcoming speech to his participants, who thanked his colleagues from the Czech Republic for joint productive work aimed at developing bilateral trade and economic cooperation.

In January-July 2017, mutual trade turnover between our countries increased by 43%, and exports of Russian products to the Czech Republic increased by 70%. And first of all, thanks to the machine-building sector. Only for the first quarter of 2017 the volume of deliveries of Russian cars, equipment and vehicles demonstrated a threefold increase ,

said Vasily Osmakov.

The deputy head of the Ministry of Industry and Trade also announced Russia's agreement to be a partner country of the MSV exhibition in 2020. The relevant proposal to the Russian side was addressed in July this year by the Minister of Industry and Trade of the Czech Republic Jiří Havlíček during the International Industrial Exhibition INNOPROM in Yekaterinburg.

Russian participation in the Engineering Fair in Brno as a partner will contribute to the further deepening of our industrial cooperation, which covers today almost all major areas of production -

said Vasily Osmakov.

During his speech, he also told representatives of foreign business about key government measures to support the real sector of the Russian economy, the mechanism of special contracts, the criteria for localization of production, the programs of the Industrial Development Fund. Information on all key operating instruments will be reflected in the new, expanded guidebook for investors prepared by the Ministry of Industry and Trade.

During his business visit to the Czech Republic, Vasily Osmakov also examined the exposition of the MSV engineering exhibition and delivered a welcoming speech within the framework of the Day of Russian Regions that took place on the territory of the exhibition complex.

Leading industrial enterprises of the Republic of Tatarstan, Vladimir and Nizhny Novgorod oblasts developed their stands with high-tech domestic products at the exhibition in Brno. A separate exposition was also presented by the Russian Export Center.
