Russian Industry And Trade Ministry Held Talks With Japanese Component Manufacturers

 On April 6-7, the official visit of the Russian delegation led by Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade Aleksandra Morozova in Japan. The company the Nissan , a key center of excellence in the field of robotic technology alliance of Renault - the Nissan -AVTOVAZ, briefed the delegation on the latest developments of autonomous wheeled vehicles and electric vehicles. It was also held talks with Japanese companies - component manufacturers.

The Russian delegation visited the Nissan Technical Center, located in Atsugi, Kanagawa Prefecture, where she met with the head of the Technical Center, executive vice president of Nissan, the executive president of the Japan Automobile Manufacturers Association (JAMA) Hideyuki Sakamoto . During the meeting they discussed the latest developments in the field of electromobility, unmanned vehicles, as well as infrastructure development and harmonization of technical requirements.

During the test drive organized by the Russian side representatives were shown the possibility of the first launched in series production car equipped with an autopilot system Nissan Serena, became the winner in the category "Innovation Award" in the competition "Car of the Year Japan 2016-2017."

Aleksandr Morozov also took part in a business dialogue, organized by Nissan with Japanese suppliers, who are leaders in the technologies required for localization in the Russian Federation. The meeting was attended by the company MARUBENI ITOCHU STEEL, UNIPRES, UACJ, YOROZU. Makoto Uchida , Vice President of Global Purchasing Organization Alliance, led a meeting with the Japanese side. Participants discussed issues of localization of components and technologies, as well as new support measures, which will be reflected in the automotive strategy 2025.
