"Russian Machines" Expand The Presence In The Segment Of Crawler Excavators

The company RM-Tereks, part of the Russian Machines corporation, has started serial production of heavy crawler excavators.

Models of crawler excavators ТХ 270 and ТХ 300 belong to one of the most demanded segments in the Russian market of heavy excavators and occupy 20% of the market of this equipment. Before launching into mass production, the machines were tested in conditions as close as possible to real operating conditions and confirmed their readiness to work on the most complex industrial sites of the Russian Federation.

The power of the excavators is 147 kW and 190 kW, the maximum breaking force is 180 and 200 kN, respectively, these parameters are the best indicators in the segment under consideration. Both excavators are equipped with modern domestic engines YaMZ 530-series with a pre-heater for uninterrupted operation under extremely low temperature conditions. Comfortable and ergonomic cabin, even in the basic configuration, is equipped with a climate system, ergonomic operator's chair, LCD monitor for monitoring the main operating parameters.

In the framework of the new project, by the end of 2017, 15 excavators TX 270 and TX 300 are planned to be manufactured. The production capacities allow producing up to 315 units of the above equipment per year.

Today we have launched a new competitive product, which has the optimal ratio of technical characteristics and cost of ownership. When creating heavy crawler excavators, more than 1,400 design solutions aimed at improving productivity were implemented, -

said Kirill Epstein, General Director of OOO RM-Tereks.

It is important to note that the TX 270 and TX 300 crawler excavators will become participants of the Preferential Leasing program implemented by the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation in conjunction with leasing organizations, in which the end user receives a discount of 10% provided that the above equipment is leased.
