The State Highly Appreciates The Development Of Agricultural Machinery In 2017

The year 2017 was positive for agricultural machinery manufacturers. The industry showed a steady growth in the production of all types of self-propelled and trailed agricultural machinery.

In particular, in 2017 the agricultural machinery industry grew rapidly to a record value of 107.2 billion rubles, which is 21% more than in 2016. The production of tractors in 2017 reached 2 450 pieces, which is 12% more than in 2016, the output of combine harvesters increased last year and reached 5 777 units, which is 14% more than in 2016. For other positions, the growth is also from 10% to 15%.

According to the Ministry of Industry and Trade, Russian companies have every opportunity to develop their achievements both at the expense of the domestic market and through the growth of export supplies.

In July, Russian Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev approved the Ministry of Industry and Trade's development of the Agricultural Machinery Development Strategy until 2030 . In accordance with the target indicators of the Strategy, the production of agricultural machinery in the Russian Federation in 2017-2030 is planned to increase by 3.6 times. At the same time, the share of Russian machinery in the domestic market should grow by 24 percentage points from 56% in 2017 to 80% in 2021.

In September, the Government of Russia approved the Export Development Strategy developed by the Ministry of Industry and Trade in the agricultural machinery industry for the period until 2025 . The development of such a strategically important industry as agricultural machinery and support for exports is an important area in the development of domestic civil engineering. The document is of a long-term nature and is aimed at bringing Russian agricultural machinery to 54 export markets.

In November, with the support of the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation, the Rosspetsmash Association and the Russian Export Center organized the participation of the Russian Pavilion at the largest international agricultural machinery exhibition AGRITECHNICA 2017 in Hanover. The total area of the pavilion was record for the national expositions at this exhibition 2000 square meters. m., which is twice as much as in 2015. The opportunities and achievements of Russian agricultural machinery manufacturers were presented by Rostselmash, Petersburg tractor plant, Pegas-Agro, Eurotechnika, Navigator-New Machinery, Agro, BDM-Agro, VELES, Liliani, New Agro-Engineering Solutions »,« Melinvest »,« A-ENGINEERING »,« Agronaut »,« SySort »and« PromAgro ». The plants demonstrated modern combines, tractors, harrows, seeders, balers, cultivators and other equipment.

The most significant event for the industry in 2017 was the extension of Program No. 1432, under which Russian farmers get the opportunity to purchase agricultural equipment and equipment from agricultural machinery at a discount. Suspended in June 2017 due to a shortage of 13.7 billion rubles already allocated for the implementation of Program No. 1432, the Ministry of Industry and Trade, together with Rosspetsmash Association, State Duma deputies, as well as industrial plants and regional authorities, managed to return the Program back to work. The Government of the Russian Federation approved the allocation of an additional 2 billion rubles for its implementation in 2017, so the total budget of the Program to subsidize discounts for agrarians in 2017 amounted to 15.7 billion rubles. The implementation of program No. 1432, important for Russian industrialists, will continue in 2018-2020, to subsidize the discount of 15-20% for the purchase of agricultural machinery and equipment in the current year already provided for 10 billion rubles. In 2019-2020 - 2 billion rubles annually.
